Digital camera reviews of Triplett 9601 Sniff-It 2 Non-Contact AC Voltage Detector with Adjustable SensitivityDigital camera Review: Eyes for the invisible Summary: 5 Stars
This little device is awesome. I have used it for a few years now and it has been invaluable to me in locating AC lines in walls, tracking their paths and most importantly, allowing me to determine hot from neutral wires in older knob and tube wiring especially when the wires have no distinguisable coloring left. Very cheap insurance to assure your job gets done properly or that you are not blindly cutting into live wires in wall.
