You can get two 15ft USB extender cables on amazon for less than $10.00 right here 15 Foot USB 2.0 Extension Cable Free Shipping. Your Welcome.
Although I do understand that some people like to waste a few dollars every now and then. The reason why I gave it the second "star" is because this is a good cable overall - if money is no object.
Digital camera Review: A USB extender that works! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought an Astak wireless video camera that uses a USB output of its receiver to the computer. Its range was limited so I had to extend the receiver about 60 feet from the computer. First I bought some rather inexpensive USB extenders (for about $11 bucks each) that were supposed to be USB2 and able to stack one onto the other. I was able to connect two of them, barely, but not three. I needed four. So after looking at many reviews, choose the TrippliteTripp Lite U026-016 USB2.0 Certified Active Extension Cable - 16ft. Glad I did, I only bought three and stacked together, they worked flawlessly for my wireless video camera. I was even able to use one of the cheap ones for my final cable, though I think I will go ahead and buy another Tripplite to put in it's place.
Digital camera Review: A decent cable Summary: 5 Stars
I needed to run a portable hard drive from 16 feet away, which is the upper limit for USB. I read quite a few reviews and decided to buy this cable rather than trying a cheaper one. I feel I avoided a hassle.
The cable and hard drive have been working for over a month. The only negative comment I have is that clear cable looks tacky... something you could make in your garage. But it works great and I'd buy it again.
Digital camera Review: Almost worked like it was supposed to Summary: 3 Stars
The purpose for me buying this product was to extend the length of my Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 web cam. After plugging it in I was getting error messages that there wasn't enough power to operate the camera. I was able to put a powered hub at the end of this extension, and plug the camera into it and everything worked fine. Not my ideal setup though.
Digital camera Review: Designer Summary: 5 Stars
I needed to connect a new Vista 64 computer (parallel port-less) to a legacy (Designjet 220 usb & network-less) engineering plotter. A replacement plotter would have cost several thousands of dollars. Two 16' Tripp Lite cables (without an additional power source) did the trick. Works flawlessly.
