I purchased this because I was having an issue with my Logitech K350 keyboard with the unified receiver not recognizing every key press and delays ever since I put our HTPC into the basement under the living room. I figured it was interference from another cord or something else inside the wall so I tried this cord for its better shielding. I had already tried AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to A-Female Extension Cable (9.8 Feet / 3.0 Meters) and a USB 3.0 hub.
Alas, my problem remains, however I cannot fault this cord for that. It works no better and no worse that that $4 cable for this one application.
Someday, I need to get a USB dvd burner and maybe I will have more news at at that point.

It's long enough to reach almost anywhere within the same room. I have used this for 6 months now and it still works. The USB port at the female end of the cable is a bit bulky, but fine, though I'm always concerned about stepping on it and breaking it. The male end was crushed upon reciept and I was discouraged as I had horrible thoughts of having to go thru the "return" process but after some "tweaking" with a pair of channel-locks, I was able to reshape the end enough for it to connect.
Overall, I am pleased with it. I can now place my Linksys WUSB300N wireless N network adapter ~20ft from my desktop. The result is I can now pick up several unprotected networks that I was unable to get before simply because I was limited in where I could locate the adapter.

As above, this is a pretty simple review. It is a quality-made 16ft USB cord with signal repeaters so you can daisy-chain several of these together to string a USB cord across a long distance, with no signal degradation. They have a plastic and braided shielding to help prevent outside forces from degrading as well. All in all, it feels like a quality product for a relatively low price.
