I've been using this product for years and wore out two - I depend on this device for telephone interviews. It's so much easier to record the conversation than to try to write everything down. It would also be handy to record legal or harassing phone calls. The only drawback is you must use a phone with a handset - not a cordless or cellphone. Not a problem in an office, where I just leave the recorder hooked up all the time and am always ready to go.
