Digital camera reviews of U32 Shadow? 500GB External USB 3.0 Mini 2.5" Portable Hard DriveDigital camera Review: A Very good small travel drive Summary: 4 Stars
A Very good small travel drive.
I love this Drive mainly because of its physical size, weight and disk capacity.
Digital camera Review: Awesome hard drive and it's small.. Summary: 5 Stars
I showed the hard drive to a friend and told him it's 500GB (actual diskspace is about 460GB in NTFS). He thought it was SSD drive. This drive runs quitely, smoothly and does not get too hot. The aluminum case with two pieces are snapped together but feels solid. The file transfering speed is adequate for general use (10-30MBps). I've owned the hard drive for over a month. Since heat is not an issue, I hope it will last for a long time. I'm very pleased with this product.
Digital camera Review: Best out there Summary: 5 Stars
i had gone through multiple hard drives before i found this one. each one had their problems (falling apart, wires to stay in...). have had this one for a while, have not had any problems. this hard drive is also smaller than the average portable hard drive.
Digital camera Review: Couldn't Be Better Summary: 5 Stars
I have used my 320 GB external drive daily for about 10 months now and it has been flawless. I was so impressed by its reliability and simplicity that I have recently bought the 500 GB one too. It is everything you could want and need in an external hardrive.
From what I have gathered, Oyen is perhaps the best company for back-up data storage and I feel very confident that you will not face any drama or horror stories of lost data from these beauties.
Digital camera Review: Decent drive for the money Summary: 4 Stars
I've only had the drive two days so I can't speak to the reliability. It is slender but it's bigger than an iphone and I'm not sure the casing will protect it much against impact. Also, it's not THAT much smaller than a typical portable drive, so I wouldn't be sold by size. The speed was ok. I transferred 40gb of music, the rate ranged between 10-13mbps, and the total time was about 55 minutes. Nowhere near the the 'up to' 480mps but I can't say my old drive was much faster. the drive was immediately recognized by windows 7 and had 465gb available for storage. basically, as long as the drive holds up, I feel that i paid a good price for the amount of storage I received.
