This is a fantastic external hard drive. I like it because it is reliable, very easy to you (plug and go) and the price is very competitive. I purchased it based on the other comments I read at Amazon's review. They convinced me and the device is pretty nice as well. It comes with a nice protection to avoid scratches. The USB cable also has a seconde cable you can use as an option that brings more power, I suppose you have USB 1.0 and need extra power.Digital camera Review: I liked it

It works great. I've had almost no problems with it. The only problem I have sometimes is that the supplied cable doesn't stay firmly in the drive, causing it to quickly disconnect and reconnect if I move it even a little bit. To be honest, I was skeptical that this device would be as good as it looked but it is. Small (a little bigger than an iphone), quiet and extremely easy to use (plug in via USB and use), I have downloaded so much music and movies onto this and only used about 75 of the 500GB of storage. I don't understand previous reviews that said it has 2 plugs and gets very hot, mine has one plug and has never gotten past slightly warm. SO, if you need extra storage space for your laptop or whatever, this is the device to purchase, and at the price I paid (about $65) this is a no-brainer.Digital camera Review: Incredibly small backup drive

I purchased one of these for my nephew, but found it to be so cute that I gifted myself one too. It is remarkably small. I was afraid that it would not be sturdy, but it is. It does not heat up at all. I use it to backup my pictures and music. Very handy for traveling.
