I bought this scale to precisely weigh silver and other items purchased for my jewelry design business. It is very easy to use, gives reproducible measurements and is extremely convenient for traveling. The one draw back to this item, and the reason it received only 4 stars from me, is that it does not come with a small weigh-boat to contain small beads during weighing. I got around this by employing a small plastic storage container which I tare before adding beads.
