Digital camera Review: Don't go cheap!

This product is, simply put, CHEAP. The wall charger works ok, it just takes for ever to charge. I plugged the car charger in and when i went to pull it out out of the socket it literally fell apart in my hands. If i could go back i would have deffenatly spent the extra cash and gotten a product that actually works!!Digital camera Review: El cheapo, but works as advertized.

No, it didn't fall apart when I plugged it into AC socket and unplugged it. It does look and feel flimsy. It charges my old Ipod without difficulties, and is good for other USB based gadgets (with your own USB cable, of course). So, it's handy and light weight. After reading the other reviews about the hit or miss with the items actually working, I wasn't quite sure what we were going to get. All three work great. My husband bought a new iPhone 3GS and we really only needed the car charger. I have a small Sony mp3 player that needs a usb connector for charging. The cable is somewhat flimsy, but it does the job well. I'm pleased with the wall charger, as I can just plug in the cable to it and let it charge. The car charger, however...that is a different story. I plug in my iPod and set it down. However, there does not seem to be enough of a charge output to keep it charged, as given enough time and it will die. Having taken my iPod on an 8 hour trip, I had music for about the first 2 hours, and for the last 6 my iPod was charging slightly, only to die and start charging enough to bring up the graphical charging screen, then die again. I've since switched to a Belkin FM Transmitter/Charger, which works beautifully for the car.Digital camera Review: Failed iPod charger

The charger worked once. When I removed it from the wall electrical outlet an electrical spade just came off in the wall. These items are so cheap that they break the first time it is used. I wouldn't buy this item again.
