Digital camera Review: 3STARS Degrades quickly

I received these headphones yesterday. Out of the box they were very good. Without changing the plugs, the phones fit inside my ears very tightly and securely. The sound was incredible. I immediately posted a review under the alias compumusikdork saying they were incredible. Well after listening to them for many hours last night, they lost the "Wow" factor. The "Wow" factor with these is they are better than your normal ear-buds and probably better than your stereo( I thought my music sounded better through these than through my Bose Wave Radio)but in all honesty, are only a step above "Good". I'd rate them an 81 out of a hundred which is descent but these ear-buds do not constitute the "Ivy League of headphones." After listening with these for a couple of hours, the sound no longer sounds amazing, you are used to it. Another issue: these are NOT for working out or even walking! They are only good for when you are sitting still and not making much movement, while you are sitting. They are not great while you are standing or if you are lying down. The only time they're good is when you are sitting in a chair, sitting up straight with your head upright and center. If you slouch or lean either backward or forward, the fit is not as tight and they are positioned precariously as if they want to fall out of your ears, as if that is their plan. A situation where they were especially bad: I walked my dog in the park (which was silent by the way) and my footsteps seemed amplified. The sound isolation with these is good for outside noises but they amplify your own noises. For instance you are made more aware of your breathing and footsteps. Comically, these ear-buds make you more self aware because you are tuned out to the rest of the world and can only hear yourself. Furthermore, today Day 2 of owning these, I had to change the rubber plugs so they would stay in better. And yesterday the standard plugs fit perfectly. They stayed in my ears perfectly and didn't shift around. Today they were completely loose and would barely stay in my ears. I don't know if I will return them, I am pretty dissapointed.
