Digital camera Review: Infrared LED

I ordered 8 of these LED's and they work great. I used 4 of them to make my own wireless sensor bar for my WII. Infrared LED's can come in handy for many things, such as repairing a broken remote control, or adding night vision to security cams.
Remember that with infrared LED's, the light is not visible to the human eye. If you want to see the light, use a digital camera. I used the one in my phone and it worked just fine. Also, just a tip for beginners, polarity matters on LED's. Each LED has a flat side which is the cathode (negative). The other wire is the anode (positive).
I would have given the product 5 stars, but I think that $2 a piece is a bit expensive. I hope this review has helped anyone looking to buy these IR LED's.
