Digital camera Review: 1 out of three aint bad.. or is it?

I needed this to connect my PS3 to my TV without having to disconnect the hdmi out of my cable box every time. This is by far the cheapest solution I found.
Installing it is easy enough, one wire from the unit to the TV and then plug each of your components to the three hdmi "ins". Right off the power cable didnt and still doesnt fit in right. It stays loose so if I move it around too much the power plug slips out. I got it to stay on and I can still move it slgihtly without the plug slipping out though.
Once I plugged my cable box and PS3 it was time to test it out. The auto switch does not work. Tried a few different things, simply does not work. No worries, the handy dandy remote control will work just fine. Oh wait the remote doesnt work either. Well good thing there is a manual button you can push to select what you want to use because that's all that works on mine.
In the end I gave it three stars because it does in deed work and video quality seems the same as if my devices were plugged directly to the TV. Having to manually select my PS3 is not ideal, but Im right next to the box when I go to use it anyway and that's only twice a week or so. For the price and considering many other's more positive experirence it's well worth a try.

I received this product yesterday and installed it within minutes of opening the package. I cannot believe the amazing quality of this product for the price. It works flawlessly at 1080p and with perfect picture and sound. For the price, you will not find anything better or equal. It is easily better than anything else on the market. You can probably find something better for several hundreds of dollars, well maybe. I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase, 5 stars!Digital camera Review: 3 Port Smart HDMI Switch

For the price, this is a quality product. Works exactly as described. Automatically switches according to priority.
One thing to note, is the blue LED light that shows which port is being used is a little glaringly bright, but that's relatively minor.
To note: It does come with an IR remote, but you will need an external power source for the switcher (5V) to use it.

This HDMI switch was easy to set up and I liked the smart feature which would automatically switch to the source which was powered on, unfortunately I think I got a bad unit. When I started using it, after two minutes, there was a message on my TV indicating no signal could be found. I unplugged everything and let it sit for a minute then plugged everything back in and the second time around it worked for about five minutes. I originally had it on top of my receiver which puts off a bit of heat so I then placed it behind my component cabinet. Everything seemed to be working fine, but about three days later, I got the same message while watching TV so I just unplugged it and sent it back.
This was a nice cheap unit, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Although it was defective, the store I got it from through Amazon (Eforcity) was great about the return. They responded to my e-mail with a return label and they processed my credit quickly.
