Works perfectly as long as you pay attention when you are plugging in your equipment. Cable and satelite boxes tend to put out constant power, so hook them up to the lowest priority port (#3) and hook up your video game system(s) and/or dvd/blu-ray player to port 1 and/or 2. Port one has the higest priority...which means when ever that device is on the switcher will always be on port 1 unless you switch it manually. The opposite is true for port 3...only active if it is the only active port. And of course by now you have figured out by now port 2 has priority over port 3, but not port 1. I could see where people might get frustrated if they didn't read the directions and can't figure why there devices won't automatically switch, BUT THAT'S WHY IT COMES WITH INSTRUCTIONS.Digital camera Review: ???????

Before I bought it,I read a review that said that the video stream was excellent
but it didn't carry voice but I didn't want to believe it. Well it true when you turn the
TV on it takes a minute or two for the voice to catch up to the video other then that
it seems to operate the why it should.

It took me almost a month to get it but it USPS that lost it for that time an all of a sudden
here it come in the mail.

Pros
Very small, can be easily hidden out of site.
The remote control and manual switching works well.
Cons
The automatic switching works, but sometimes there's no audio when the device automatically switches from one source to another source.
This isn't a big deal though. Because when this happens, I just use the remote or manually press the button on the device
to change sources and this solves the audio problem.
I would recommend this item.
Be aware that the price of this item is volatile. I've seen it as low as $15 and as high as $30.
Buy it when it's dirt cheap as you never know when the price will sky rocket.

This switch is amazing. It is an intelligent switch which means that it detects when you turn one input off and another one on and automatically switches to that HDMI input.
If that's not cool enough for you it also has 3 infrared remotes to manually change to the HDMI of your choice.
And did I mention that it does NOT need external power. It draws power from the main HDMI source.
You can NOT beat the price either.
