i don't know how they made such a small gizmo with such big abilities.
this product exceeded my expectations. and for the price. how can you not get one.
i have my PS3 and Cable box hooked up to this tiny miracle of a box.
no power is needed,which makes it even better.
when i turn on my PS3 it knows to switch on it's own.
don't even need to remote which comes with it.
kudos the the inventor of this product.

Well worth the money. It was simple to install and easier to use. Now I can have to video game consoles and a Mac all attached via the same HDMI port. This works exactly as described. Just put your DVD player or other HDMI device into input 1 and your cable / satellite into either input 2 or 3. Voila! While your DVD device is powered off, the switch will default to input 2, then 3. When you turn on the player or whatever is plugged into HDMI 1, it flawlessly switches to the that device, and then back to the lower priority input when powered off. Not only does this allow me to use more HDMI devices (Cable, Blu-Ray, PC), but it also allows me to avoid manually switching between inputs on my TV's menu. Even though I have had the unit for a short time, it has already proven itself as a good device that works well. I have my DISH receiver as well as my AVR connected to it which feeds the signal coming from the Blu Ray to it and then to the HDTV. It works perfectly. I wanted one so that I could listen to audio from my TV W/O having the AVR also turned on. The unit is compact and the fact that no external power is needed but that it is powered via an HDMI connected device is an added plus. All in all, a good choice in the time I have had it. A very simple solution to a common problem. Although I haven't used the included remote, the switch works as it should, and the quality is just as it was before. Would recommend.
