This replacement battery is much better than a canon OEM battery. The day it arrived, I charged it over night, and used it on a commercial shoot. THE BATTERY THAT CAME WITH MY CANNON EOS REBEL, THIS WAS THE FIRST REBEL ON THE MARKET DIGITAL 6.3 MEGA PIXELS, CAME WITH A 1100MAH BATTERY THAT IS THE VALUE AT WHICH A BATTERY WILL LAST. THE BATTERY THAT I HAVE BOUGHT FOR $2.99 EACH (BOUGHT 2) THEY WERE 2000MAH, ALMOST DOUBLE THE STRENGTH. YOU WOULD BE CRAZY TO BUY THE ORIGINAL CANNON BATTERY FOR $60.00, WHEN YOU CAN BUY THIS ONE WHICH HAS DOUBLE THE LASTING POWER. HAVE HAD ONE OF THEM IN MY CANNON AND TOOK ATLEAST 500 SHOTS AND IT IS NEARLY HALF WAY DEPLETED. GREAT VALUE AND GREAT BUY!!!

These batteries are a bargain but don't expect them to last as long as the one that came with your camera. I first noticed the battery completely discharged after sitting a week or two after I'd shot a few pictures. That never happened before. A full charge simply doesn't last as long. You'll want to carry a spare. If you've got the jack, go for the one from Canon. If you're not a pro, this battery will do you for awhile for less money.Digital camera Review: Good Battery!

This replacement is as good than the original canon battery. Charges well and holds a charge por long time. I have shot more than 500 photos with this battery without recharging. I'm so happy I purchased these batteries.
