Digital camera Review: Excellent, inexpensive underwater option
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great underwater camera case. I read some a few reviews that were negative, so I was hesitant at first, but bought it anyway since it was inexpensive compared to the other options. I used it with my Canon SD1000 in the Bahamas and I was very happy with the results. As other reviews have noted, sometimes you get the dark ring around the edge if your camera lens is not centered well, but I found it quite easy to keep it centered after using it for 10 minutes. The LCD screen was hard to see, but I attribute that to the fault of the LCD not being bright enough rather than the clear plastic hindering it. The buttons can be hard to use in the case, but for the price, it's a small inconvenience. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase.

Digital camera Review: False advertising
Summary: 1 Stars

This product in no way fits the Canon SD770 IS as stated. It is almost twice as big as the camera. I am waiting on a response from dbroth so that I can return this.

Digital camera Review: Frustrated Snorkeler
Summary: 2 Stars

After reading some encouraging reviews I ordered the waterproof case for my digital camera. Following the tips from those reviews I used rolled pieces of soft cloth to help the camera "fit" inside the bag, tested it at home in a sink of water to make sure it was waterproof (it IS) and practiced taking pictures around the house. All fine and good. However, when snorkeling it was difficult to press the camera buttons through the plastic case; but the most frustrating part was how the plastic case would "stick" to the camera, causing glare that made it almost impossible to "see" where you were aiming. It would have been better to just pick up a disposable underwater camera (which I had used successfully the previous month on a whale watching trip in Mexico). At least I would have some decent photos of the colorful fish & coral to remember from our Caribbean vacation. I would NOT recommend this produt.

Digital camera Review: Function well, but broke apart after several uses
Summary: 2 Stars

It worked pretty well during my three snorkelings. Easy to bring to underwater. No leak at all. Some pictures got a black ring, but those areas can be easily cropped by image post-process. However, on the 4th use, when I was on the Wailua river kayaking tour, the part that attached to the string just fell. I was lucky that I noticed when it happened, otherwise I would have lost my camera along with all the pictures.

Digital camera Review: Good Seal, Not a Perfect Fit
Summary: 4 Stars

This was purchased for use with my Canon PowerShot SD 790is. After a few tests, it is clear that the case is well constructed and will keep water and sand out. However, my camera had to be adjusted within the case for each shot. Not terribly convenient, but worth it to me.
