I ordered this Uniden 300 channel scanner..suppose to be christmas gift for my husband. For some reason..without my knowledge...they cancelled my order!!!! I have purchased other items from Amazon with great results but can say the seller of this product has left a very bad taste in my mouth and can honestly say they do NOT fulfill their customers requests.Digital camera Review: good scanner;good value

The included info about where to find local frequencies was a plus. The reception is a minimum of "3 Bars" better than my handheld.[a plus in rural WI.]I did not want the clock. I am very glad it come with it. The snyc w/ the atomic clock and battery back-up are great features. After checking all the specs for this scanner I bought it for my sons birthday. He could not get the police calls in our area with out "trunk tracker" After checking it himself he realized he would need a more expensive scanner (not a big problem) but would also then have to paid more money to get the codes. He suggested I buy a puppy for myself and forget the scanner. Very disappointed, thought this would be a great present!Digital camera Review: super radio

it took awhile to learn how to program it and
the manual is a little confusing
but the radio picks up everything very clearly
We are now monitering the entire county of all emergencies
