The speakerphone does not work well, if at all. The VOX switching circuit is too sensitive, so each caller only hears about every other syllable. Switching from speakerphone back to handset mode often causes calls to be lost. I have chosen Uniden cordless phone system for years. The product never let's me down. I have had friends who have chosen other makes, but have always had problems. So, when I hear this I say " choose Uniden and you'll never make a mistake twice".

Stay clear of these phones! I hardly have talked on the phone since I have purchased them. There is ALOT of interference on them..sounds like you're talking in a wind tunnel. Don't waste your money!!!! I'm sticking with Panasonic... There is a reason why these phones are so cheap!!!!!!!!

I have had this phone for a little over three months - works terrific. I have no issues with walking outside, downstairs and even outside while talking on it. Ive had Uniden phones for about 15 years and have never encountered a junk unit. This one works just as advertised and as expected. I say give it a try.
