This phone worked fine for 2 months. Now it does not ring when a call is coming in and the answering machine does not work. I have been in contact with Uniden. I have waited about a half hour for help, then have to hang up and try their solutions. So far nothing has worked. At least 50% of the time, calls get cut off when you pick up the handset and press talk. The same thing happens when the answering system picks up. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "what's wrong with your phone?" when sometimes people call back. How many important calls I've missed? I don't even want to think about it. I'm sorry i threw out my old GE corded phone with the little tape cartridge for recording calls.
