This Uniden TCX400 5.8GHz expansion handset and charger for the CLX , T8, ELT, and VoIP series, has a graphic matrix monochrome LCD. There is a USB connection for downloading ringers, pictures, and phonebook. There is cordless customization software for PC-based setups. It has recordable ringer tones. You can store up to 100-names with 4 numbers per name in its phonebook. There is a 100-No. Caller ID memory as well. This phone features distinctive ringer tones, animation, and picture display. There is handset and base speakerphone, Handset-to-handset intercom and phonebook transfer. It shows battery, clock, & banner displays. This phone is headset compatible. Using the 5.8 GHz digital frequency, the TCX400 is able to offer exceptionally clear conversation and increased range over traditional 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz phones. Caller ID and call waiting compatible, this handset has a 100-number caller ID memory and distinctive ring detection. It also comes with a USB cable, downloadable software, and an audio input cable, allowing you to download picture displays and record your favorite songs and audio files for use as ring tones.
A built-in speakerphone and headset compatibility provide you with hands-free communication options, while the built-in 100-name/400-number phone directory helps you to keep track of all of your contacts. A 10-number speed dial is also provided, and with handset-to-handset memory transfer, it's easy to exchange phone directory entries between handsets. The LCD menu can be set to one of three languages (English, French, or Spanish), and joystick navigation and soft-key functions make accessing the phones features a snap.
As for communicating between handsets, the TCX400 provides a multitude of options. A handset-to-handset call transfer feature lets you route incoming calls to another handset, while a built-in intercom lets you communicate with any other handset on the system. Three-way conferencing allows multiple handsets to communicate with an outside caller, and the DirectLink feature lets you utilize the TCX400 as a 2-way radio. You can also turn on the room/ baby monitor setting to hear whatever is going on at another handset location. The TCX also comes backed with a one-year limited warranty.
