Digital camera Review: A GOOD PHONE SYSTEM, NOT GREAT THOUGH

Hi.
I Bought this system as a replaxement for a P*N****** phone system. My previous system was a 3 handset system - non-expandable. A Non expandable system I discovered the hard way. means that if 1 handset goes bad (and it did) you must send in the entire system for repair. They wont even give you an advance exchange so that you arent without a phone.
When the second handset got wet and quit working I knew it was time to replace it. I purchased the Uniden. The sound quality is good...not excellent but good. The features are pretty good. The P system had some features that the U system didn't and vice versa so the features are a draw. The U is an expandable system so I dont have to worry about service should a handset go bad - just buy another handset.
My U system has an answering machine as part of it. I have a Voip phone system with voice mail so I dont need the answering machine. The U works ok with my voice mail but would not light the light on the handset to indicate a waiting message - not a big deal but I wanted it to work. After talking with Uniden (good customer service) I decided to buy another single U phone system without an answering machine. I then re-registered my phones from the first U system to the second without the answering machine. I now have 5 phones (only 4 chargers) working on the system without the answering machine and voice mail is working perfectly as it should. If the voice quality were a little better I would give this another star. Oh, The U system works better when I am in my garage than the P system Did. The P system would not show caller ID when a phone was in my garage but the U does. Buy it, the price is good too.
