I use this charger while travelling as it is light and compact. It allows me to charge it from my vehicles or from a wall outlet when I am away from home. I am using this charger on an Apple iPod 5th generation Nano. I have not had any issues with compatability. I will mention that I do not use it heavily as I typically charge my Nano from a dock on my external speakers. I have seen other reviews mentioning that the prongs pull out of the AC adapter and the 12v plug comes apart. I have not experienced any of these problems and feel that I have gotten a great value for what little I paid. Not a bad kit for what it worth. I have only used the Hotsync usb cable and car charger, I have had no problems with any of it. The Price was right and was very happy to get all the items I ordered together and sooner then expected. works with older Ipods as well.
