I bought the customizer after reviewing other reviews and was not disappointed. It feels and works as represented and the customizing features are clearly explained. A DVD is included,but the manual is simple to use. One click turns on my TV, Audio, and cable. I customized a zoom key to adjust the picture to hi definition stretch. One push of the button turns off all items or I can switch to the DVD on the main screen where I have set up a macro which allows one push of the "on" button which switches audio to DVD, turns the TV input to DVD and opens the tray to accept the DVD. When I'm done with the DVD, a macro allows one push of the Off button to switch everything back to the cable tv mode. The macro in this mode allows one push of the "off" button to turn off the TV, Cable,and audio. What more do I need. Possibly turning off the remote contol ceiling fan and lighting? I have't tried this yet, but who knows. Its worth every cent.Digital camera Review: Whoa... If you don't have a degree in rocket science, forget it.

This product "might" be able to work an entire system, but I think it would take about a month (with zero sleep) to program the remote correctly. YOU have to program every single macro. And you know how easy it is if you forget one single step!?!?!? it's NOT!!! You have to re-program the entire macro, step-by-step!! But what if you forget the steps!? TOO BAD!!
I returned it within a day and bought the Logitech Harmony 880. Program on the computer. Done.

I am quite pleased with this remote as it controls all components in my system with a reasonably easy setup.
Macros were easy to setup.
After using the program codes to setup the major components any keys that did not work as labeled were easy to correct with the "learn" mode.
I only have two minor complants:
1) The "Favorites" mode does not allow volume control "Punch Thru" so you must switch to another mode to use the volume control after using "Favorites" to change channels.
2) The device scans the buttons rather slowly so you must hold a button down a fraction of a second longer than you may be used to for it to work.
Overall a very cusomizable unit that does everything that advertisments said it would.
Very unusual in todays world.

I'm still playing with it, but so far it works great. And I have found it fairly easy to program, once I watched the enclosed DVD. Very simple.
