Digital camera Review: Be prepared to crawl on the floor with the black light 1-2 inches above carpet!!

The ad appears that you can stand or perhaps hold the blacklight 1-2 feet from the carpet. WRONG. I had to hold the blacklight 1-2 inches above the carpet and slowly sweep back and forth because the "glowing" spots were not that prominent. I used this for a few weeks and did not notice any difference whatsoever in the cat stains/smells. It was totally ineffective... I threw remainder out.
Lately I've been using Petzyme to clean the stains, and it works PERFECTLY... no complaints whatsever (even removes old stains.) Still looking for a product to remove faint urine odor that still remains but have not had one that I am happy with.

I bought this product with high hopes. My dog has started going potty in my little boy's room and the smell was horrible. I thought the best thing about this product was the black light because I could see the spots where she peed in his room (there were 7 of them). Instead of spraying the product on I poured it on because it says you have to saturate the pad as well if it is on carpet. The next day I checked again with the black light and the spots were a bit lighter under the light, but they were still htere. However, the next day when I checked, because the odor was worse than ever before, the whole area where the dog had peed was one HUGE glowing spot, the worse thing was you could still see the original spots because they had a dark ring around them, but now there is about a 3x3 glowing blob on his bedroom floor. I am disgusted by this product and if I didn't use about the whole darn bottle trying to get those 7 spots up I'd take it right back.Digital camera Review: Don't Bother
