Digital camera Review: For having three male cats who peed like there was no tomorrow...
Summary: 4 Stars

Urine Gone worked pretty well. We actually have five male cats, but only three of them made any trouble for us. One kept getting bladder infections and - unknown to us - also had interstitial cystitis, so he must have thought it was his litter box that made peeing so painful. He peed on everything else instead, in search of an area to pee that wouldn't hurt so much. Our other cat - who was a stray we found, but we're pretty sure he's a purebred British Blue - has back problems, and must have thought they were caused by a predator, so he decided to mark his territory to show the predator who was boss. And the third cat, who's this big, burly galoot tuxedo cat wondered why he wasn't allowed to spray everywhere when the other two cats were. Luckily, our other two cats skipped the summer peeing festivities because one's a bit anti-social and the other's just too sweet. But anyway...

So we got Urine Gone. We had been trying to use FeliWay plug-ins to help soothe our peeing brood, but despite working really well at first, I guess the ailments of our two cats were just too over-powering. Urine Gone works really well for cleaning up the stains. It probably got rid of the smell, too, but we were constantly using it because the cats were constantly tinkling where they weren't supposed to. But after the cat with interstitial cystitis had his surgery to remove his cyst (he now has the most expensive bladder of anyone I know), he stopped peeing everywhere. The other two followed suit. We sprayed Urine Gone on the last of the stains, and now the house smells like nothing ever happened. But our front door was ruined in the whole atrocity, as well as our entertainment center because the urine soaked the particle board and it disintegrated. Urine Gone does work. Trust me.

Digital camera Review: Great Product, But you need ALOT
Summary: 4 Stars

This stuff works great, However, you really need to soak the area with the product to get the best results. The spray bottle just doesn't do it. I have to pour it onto the stain, getting it really wet. I didn't use the black light, as I could see where my stain is. I have tried EVERYTHING and this is the only product that makes a dent on the pee stains from our pug.

Digital camera Review: I have used for years - works great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from. The instructions are simple - wipe up as much as possible, then saturate area with UG, wait for enzymes to do their stuff, then wipe up. No smell remains, guaranteed. If it is a very large spot, use more.

I have had 100% success with this product. I typically use on walls, hardwood, carpet, and fabric couches if a small spot. For a bigger stain on fabric, I usually use Cat Odor Eliminator Spray for fabrics, just to be sure the fabric is safe. UG works on fabrics too, but sometimes I have to follow up with soap and water to remove the UG since it leaves a residue if you use a lot of it. But the Cat Odor Eliminator spray doesn't smell very good, kind of cleansery. UG has a pleasant light odor.

I have non-cat people come over and comment that our house smells very good, and not even a hint of cat. My husband and I are very sensitive to smells and when there is an accident or cat spray, we notice it right away. We have 2 male cats who spray occasionally - it drives me crazy since they are neutered - but I'm not about to get rid of them. UG has saved the day! (Another good product is Zero Odor - which leaves NO smell behind, which is great - but it does leave a kind of powdery residue which needs to be cleaned up, which is why I stick with UG).

As for the black light - it does work, but only in a completely darkened room (I have to wait for night time) and even then the light must be very close to the stain. I usually comb the walls and furniture at cat level holding the light a couple of inches away. The light could be bigger and more powerful, but what do you expect for a product that costs less than $10? A CSI Luma Light? (which also must be used in complete darkness)

Digital camera Review: I love it
Summary: 5 Stars

It works great for my dogs urine and poo I don't know what you are talking about. I use this and only this to clean my pet's mess.

Digital camera Review: I thought it was an OK investment
Summary: 3 Stars

Yeah, it didn't get rid of the stain, BUT you can only see the stain under the black light. The smell is completely gone! I thought it worked ok.
