This product got the urine stain out of my carpet and the odor disappeared too!! I even used it on old stains on the carpet where my cat threw up - the stain is gone! The black light is great is revealing spots. The spray leaves a bit to be desired. The spray is supposed to destroy the urine without scrubbing and it doesn't. Any pet owner knows that killing the odor of urine is nearly impossible. The spray does kill about 85% of the odor, but leaves enough to where the animal is able to smell it and hit the spot again. This product, however, is better than anything offered in the store and I recommend it to pet owners.Digital camera Review: Look further

I was skeptical so I bought this kit. The first one had a missing black light, the second on took forever to install the batteries because the compartment is so tight. And in the end the black light didn't even expose the urine stains.
The actual urine gone doesn't work either. I sprayed half of the bottle on the stain, scrubbed it in like the directions say. I even tried it on FRESH urine, and I could still smell urine.
It does, however, have a nice smell. That's about all good I can say about it.

I bought this because my dogs seem to "miss" their puppy pad sometimes. The smell was getting really bad and embarrassing. I've tried Nature's Miracle...didn't work. I figured this was worth a shot. The blacklight does work but it has to be very dark and you have to be really close to the surface you're checking. This TOTALLY removed the smell. I didn't have any terrible odor after I used it. I did, however, notice that the reviewers with that problem had cats. Maybe it's a cat thing. This doesn't remove the stains seen under the black light but since my carpet is burgandy berber they aren't visible anyway. The only drawback (the reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 stars) is that it takes alot of spray to saturate the carpet and pad. I will continue to use this for puppy "accidents".
