Digital camera reviews of V-MODA Bass Freq In-Ear Stereo Headphone (Bling Bling Black)Digital camera Review: A tight seal Summary: 5 Stars
These ear buds are definitely a great buy. They cancel out a lot of background noise when walking outside by a road or the beach. I love that the buds come in different sizes because I have small ear openings and the buds that came with my ipod are too large. I continuously wore these for a couple of hours and did not feel any discomfort. The only thing with having such a tight feel is that it does feel like a suction cup in your ear. But I guess that is a price to pay for quality of sound you get from these ear buds. I highly recommend this product!
Digital camera Review: A very good pair of earphones Summary: 4 Stars
The missing star is because the in ear nature of this set can get a little tiring on extended use. They are excellent for use in a noisy environment and produce a good response at all volumes though it would be quite unwise to use it at anything more than medium volumes. The seal against ambient noise is quite good. The storage scheme is also innovative, though I would like to see how it wears over a few months.
Digital camera Review: A+ Summary: 5 Stars
You will not find a better quality of headphone for this price. They are durable, have excellent sound and affordable. For example, I accidentally left them in my pocket which resulted in them taking an unfortunate trip to the washer. To my surprise, once they dried out it worked like new. Personally speaking, the only minor negative remark I could submit would be if you're using them to do running/jogging they occasionally need to be reseeded in your ear.
Digital camera Review: AWESOME SOUND!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
The clarity of sound from these earbuds is outstanding!! The bass is awesome and the highs and midrange are crystal clear. I have to turn the volume down halfway, with these, compared to the earbuds that came with my MP3 player. When listening to a song, I can hear the singers pitch and range more clearly. They are well worth the money. Also, the silicone earbuds are sssoooo soft in my ears, and the differents sizes they give you allows you to get a good snug fit and be able to enjoy the bass sounds and block out any outside noises. When I have them in my ears I don't hear ANY outside noises. When I wear them mowing my lawn I barely hear the lawnmower; before with my other earbuds I sometimes couldn't hear the song being played.
Digital camera Review: AWESOME earbuds! especially for the price. Summary: 5 Stars
For under $50, you can't get better earbuds. Obviously, the bass is excellent, and it's really thumpy if you have a bass-heavy song. The only downside is if you have the bass set at a high level in your equalizer, it somewhat drowns out the highs, but if you turn it down a little, or turn up the mids and the high in the EQ it's great. I highly recommend these earbuds if you're looking for something wayyyy better than those crappy headphones that came with your iPod =)
If you're a audiophile, and I mean really , you probably won't want these. They sound amazingly good, but if you're that picky, you'll probably want something that plays music a little more precise and accurate, like the really expensive Shures, or v-moda VibeIIs.
Just a thought: the cord isn't very long, about 5' which is fine, if you're listening to your mp3 player, but if you plan to use these on your computer, for instance, you would probably want to get a cheap extension if your computer is far away. (I it when you plug it in your computer and you have to bend your neck in a weird angle just so you can have BOTH earbuds in.)
**UPDATE**
This is weird... one day I noticed that the left wire is a little longer than the right one. It wasn't like that new, and I didn't pull at it. huh. I guess it doesn't matter, the gauge of the wire isn't extremely heavy. it gets the job done, though.
***UPDATE 2***
I've had these headphones for quite a while now and I can still say I love these. For less than thirty dollars, you cannot get a better pair of headphones. The bass is simply amazing, and with right equalization, you can get pretty darn good treble response, as well if you want. (I don't like the bass too heavy, I want to be able to really hear the vocals as that's the best part of the song for me) The weird wire length thing doesn't really matter, I guess they were put together by hand, and it's a knot holding the wire from slipping so it totally makes sense. Still comfortable, and amazing sound performance.
