This is the solution for the digital age of entertainment..very simple setup...took me five minutes...work's great.. no need to buy an overpriced extender for your computers media content...this let's you have full access to ALL of your computer's digital media...just hook it up to a flat screen tv through the hdmi output and BAM!!!! La probabilité que ça fonctionne avec votre équipement est faible. Chez microbytes un seul match ordi-tv a fonctionné et ce, avec la moins bonne résolution. Il faut que la carte graphique de l'ordi donne exactement la résolution que la tv s'attend a recevoir, ce qui est rare car les standards des ordi et des tv sont habituellement différents. This converter solved my need! Thanks to others who reviewed the converter to help me with my purchase decision through their reviews.
This converter provides me the capability to send a high quality audio and video signal to my 1080P TV, plus I can use my TV speakers and volume control. I followed the step-by-step setup directions before powering everything up and I was delighted with the result. My only snag was finding which HDMI input on my TV was receiving the signal from my PC.
I have a two year old HP Notebook which is setup for my 2nd monitor docking station. My only available output to TV was S Video or a VGA port. I was not satisfied with the S Video picture quality and wanted sound.
I have not experimented with all the picture size options available to me, but I'm delighted to have the high quality picture and sound in a small, easy to set up package.

Este producto que compre esta defectuoso y lo reporte con el fabricante y lo unico que me dijeron que no lo habia instalado bien y me mandaron una serie de ocpiones para instalarlo pero de que me regresaran mi dinero o me repusieran la compra olvidenlo.... la verdad estoy muy decepcionado de este fabricante, ya he comprado otras ocaciones en amazon pero creo que lo voy a pensar para el futuro ya que no ponen atencion de los fabricantes que representan y no se hacen responsables de aparatos defectuosos ni mucho menos devolucion de dinero...

Got it and it took several attempts to get the adjustments correct on the laptop (resolution) to work with TV. The sound is ok, it's not like a home stereo. It does what it says and no other claims, but you get what you pay for. I would use it for basic uses nothing to really enjoy movies like a blu ray or computer. I would only recommend to those who need a quick and cheap fix to video viewing.
