Digital camera reviews of VGA and Audio to HDMI ConverterDigital camera Review: Highly Recommended, if you have a DLP TV! Summary: 5 Stars
I have a Mitsubishi 60" DLP 3DTV and I wanted to connect my old PC (VGA) to the monitor. I tried the Atlona and that did not work at all! I sent that junk back ASAP! I was almost discouraged and started thinking about upgrading to a Logitech Revue Companion Box or Sony Goggle TV, both with HDMI and Wi-Fi built in. I decided to give this venture one more shot because I have so many documents, files, pictures and music on this PC and I just wasn't sure if I would be able to transfer files after upgrading to those units. That is when I came across this item, by CE-Link on Amazon, after performing a search! I am very glad I did! I disregarded all those reviews that kept claiming, "Oh, it would never work! You are trying to connect an analog signal to super digital! It is a waste of time!" THAT IS FALSE, FALSE, FALSE!!! This unit WORKS like a charm!
Connecting this unit was a breeze and as soon as I turned to the TV's PC HDMI input, there it was! My entire desktop, with my family picture wallpaper! I was tickled pink! LOL! Sitting on my couch, 20 feet away with my wireless keyboard and mouse, surfing the web was amazing and now taken to an insane level! It is like swimming in an ocean! LOL! I definitely and highly recommend this product, especially if you have a DLP TV! The only "VERY MINOR" drawback is the sound comes in distorted and static, if the streaming video volume is high. All you need to do is make sure the volume is very low and then you can adjust your TV volume to you taste! I considered doing a video review but this thing is so straight forward and ridiculously easy to use, it was not necessary! Go get it!
Digital camera Review: IT DOESN'T WORK WITH PANASONIC PLASMA Summary: 1 Stars
If you have a panasonic plasma don't waste your money and your time IT DOESN'T WORKS.
I have another tv an LG SCARLET and it works with it very well, but i don't need to use it with the scarlet because it has a vga input.
Digital camera Review: It Works Summary: 5 Stars
This box works perfectly, it does have certain limitations on the video quality. I have it set at 1024 X 768 and 60HZ, my TV is set to zoom mode, it is a 61" DLP and there is no difference watching a netflix steaming movie and regular DVD. Of course I also sit 12 feet away, if you sit closer you will notice all the pixels. Even on a DVD!!! For those of you that do not want to purchase a new whatever this box is for you.
Digital camera Review: Junk Summary: 1 Stars
This thing is horrible, doesn't work. Even when you can get it to show up on your TV, it's a complete blur.
Digital camera Review: Just didn't work Summary: 1 Stars
Never got a picture to appear on my Toshiba 65" CRT based rear projection 1080i HDTV...sent it back and ordered a USB 2.0 UGA Multi-Display Adapter External Video Card which I also reviewed...click on the link to see that review if interested.
