Digital camera Review: Feels pretty cheap, even for being pretty cheap

Just a little tin box with rubber inserts to hold 8 SD cards. The latch and hinge of the box seem extremely cheap, but since the box was pretty cheap i guess that should be expected. The latch is just a dint in a piece of metal that uses it's shape to keep the box closed. I'm sure that grabbing it wrong or dropping it would send your memory cards flying. I don't intend to use these that much and i needed two for a trip, so i got the cheap ones. But now that i see how cheap it is... i'm thinking that i should have probably gotten the pelican case.Digital camera Review: Good SD Card Storage

High capacity SD cards are now cheap enough to be a one-time-use storage medium for photos. Files can get lost on computers, but the initial recording of photos on SD cards in cameras seem to be pretty permanent. These aluminum cases are pretty inexpensive, and are a good repositary of a large number of photos. (8 cards each case, 4 GB or 8 GB cards hold thousands of photos!) I can highly recommend these cases for safe SD card storage and also for keeping track of SD cards in a camera bag. Don't forget to mark each of your SD cards with an identifying number when you first get them, and then record the number and the card content in a computer file on more than one of your computers.Digital camera Review: Good case!!!

It was cheap, it holds SD memory cards, the latch sometimes doesn't align correctly. It is not for my high-use memory cards so I'm not worried about it and it's better than having loose SD cards laying around.Digital camera Review: Its just OK.

The case is exactly like it shows and describes. Its hard to protect your disks from crushing. However, it is too heavy duty for its purpose unless you are really rough on things or you need the heft to remind you of its presence. It doen't hold the disks very tight either. One or two are always floating free every time I open it. Got a good deal on the price so I'm ok with it.
