While trying to create a slideshow for my father's birthday, I tried several DVDs that I already had. All of them either were not recognized by my computer or would not play back correctly after burning. I ordered the Verbatim DVD +R. So far, every one of these have excellent playback. You can't beat Verbatim DVD+R 100 for the price!! Never had a problem with this type of DVD.
I read a previous review saying theirs were made in India, but the ones I received were made in Taiwan.
Again, great product for the price!!

I've read many sites claiming Verbatim to be the best in cdr and dvdr so I bought a 100 pack of each. They have worked great for me. I have been using these DVDs for quite some time now, and have never had any issues with them. Very reliable! Also seems to be the best value I can find. I used to buy the 25 packs, but realize the 50 packs provide a little bit more savings, just a few cents here and there.Digital camera Review: Great blank DVD's

The blanks come up with 18x speed in my reasonably old burner and seem to work fine at that for my use. Setting the speed to 8x seems to create disks that any player can read reliably. For the price, these are simply excellent.
