Digital camera Review: Great buy if you can get them in one piece!!!

The only reason I didn't rate this item any higher is because I had to request a replacement TWICE! The first item arrived in a crushed box. When I opened the package, I found the the DVD Spool had actually broken in two pieces and the dvds were scattered throughout the box. Needless to say, over half of the 100 DVDs were badly scratched. I called Amazon and was told a replacement shipment would come. A few days later it arrived. This time, I didn't even open the box. I could see black pieces of plastic sticking out the sides of the box where the spool had broken yet AGAIN! When I called Amazon Customer Service again, I was treated as if I was trying to get free DVDs or something to that effect. They told me I would have to return the damaged shipment before they would send more delaying the whole process even further. I requested a supervisor and was given slightly better treatment. Finally the 2nd replacement arrived damage free and I returned the 1st damaged replacement. So I think it's pretty obvious that Amazon has a few kinks to work out in their shipping dept before I will make another purchase like this one.Digital camera Review: Great disc, lousy shipping

As most everyone says, Verbatim makes very reliable recordable discs. But I'm taking off two stars for Amazon's inferior packaging. My cake box was laid on its SIDE in the carton with a few air pillows on top. Predictably, the case was damaged but fortunately none of the disks was. I can't afford to waste time on damaged shipments so I'm ordering elsewhere in the future.Digital camera Review: Great discs for video archiving

After going through more than ten different manufactures of DVD+R media I have to say I have had the best results with these. Close to 100% burn rate with excellent playback on most players, except Sony, (though I'm using a Sony burner). One batch had some duds at the end of the cake and Amazon replaced the whole thing promptly.Digital camera Review: Great media, bad search engine!

Well I have to say that it was late at night and I should have been reading closer. These are really great disks. Problem is I did an Amazon search for LIGHTSCRIBE DVD+R and when I saw these in the results (3rd for relevance) and saw the price and rating I ordered them. Wasn't until after the order was being processed and I checked the status that I noticed that there are not lightscribe disks. So now after saving enough $$$ to finally Lightscribe all my videos I need to start saving all over again. So yeah I guess I should not order late at night anymore, but I really wish Amazon would work on their search engine querry a little more. Anyone want to buy an unopened case of Verbatin BRANDED dvd+r's? And again, I have used these before and yes there are REALLY great disks. IF I weren't looking specifically for the LS-DVD's I would definately keep them.Digital camera Review: Great performance.

16X writting speed is exelent and no writting errors. You can buy whith close eyes.
