Very good mouse...just plug in the NANO receiver and go. No need to install drivers, etc. (of course, I'm using a newer laptop running Vista - so older computers you may have to use the included CD). Overall, very happy. The nano receiver is nice...don't have to worry about it being in the way or snapping off.Digital camera Review: Excellent value, great look, and excellent design.

It is quite hard to review mice these days because there are a plethora of them in the market. However small mice are sometimes on the expensive side and do not really work as advertised. The Verbatim is a gem in this category because of the following simple reasons:
1. Great VALUE
2. Light Weight
3. Excellent Design
4. PLUG n PLAY
The box includes the mouse, a usb dongle, AAA (triple a) batteries, software, and manuals.
Yes, software is included...but sometimes I feel that these devices should work out of the box and no additional software should be necessary...and for me one of the core features MUST be cross platform interoperability. This MOUSE works on PC's as well as MAC's by just plugging the dongle in. There is a slot on the rear of the mouse that you can insert the dongle into, which in effect powers off the mouse.
The scroll wheel is perfectly balanced..not too tight and not too loose. It feels comfortable and does not make your nerves tingle (most computer users will know what i mean about tingle).
I tested the mouse on the following surfaces:
1. A desk
2. Marble Counter Tops
It worked perfectly on both surfaces...and that says a lot for this mouse. Why? Simply because most mice that cost double what this mouse costs do not respond well to marble counter tops...they simply refuse to move...this puppy moved. You no longer need to spend $$ on a blue mouse (no brands mentioned) to get this support.
Excellent product, excellent value, and perfect composition.

This mouse is excellent and very practical. Also, the price is amazing.
The only thing that can be improved is the way to turn off the device. It is necessary to unplug the USB receiver from your Computer and take it into the compartment on the underside of the mouse. This action is very annoying because if you don't do the battery goes down very fast and it should repeated any time that you turn off your Computer.
For that reason, I strongly recommend to add one power button in order to avoid these heavy moments.
