I see I'm being asked to review a "Verbatim DVD+R 4.7GB LightScribe 30pk Spindle" with no mention of write speed. What I bought was 16X and they work just fine. The LightScribe capability means no more sloppy looking titles. In fact, you can burn images, too, though only in sepia. A word about the speed: the 16X 30 pack is Verbatim part #95091. Some places only carry 8X, other places carry #95091 and mistakenly call it 8X (see Amazon picture, then check #). Not sure why, but I had a long talk with a rep at Provantage.com and their #95091 was the same #95091 I was holding in my hand, so I ordered more. Good product!Digital camera Review: Not one coaster!

I've purchased two(2) 30-pack spindles of these discs and have not experience a single error resulting in an unusable disc (aka a coaster). I always burn my lightscribe discs as dark as possible and even very complex patterns and detailed photos show up beautifully.Digital camera Review: Professional Impression

As a Professional Photographer, Impressions are everything. Verbatim LightScribe DVD's deliver that quickly and easily for an economical price. I have a high investment in my images and I do not trust them to be stored on just any Media. I have had Memorex fail. I have had to hand write data labels on other media. I have had paper labels come unstuck from the humidity in Houston Texas. For a Truly Professional look, feel, and performance. I consider Verbatim to be the most reliable brand of writeable dvds. Of the hundreds of burns I have done, I have never had a burn fail that appeared to be due to a bad disk. There is probably the occasional bad disk, but certainly no more than 1 in 100, and I believe far less.
The lightscribe images are the best quality of any brand of disk I've used, though I've only used lightscribe with 2 or 3 brands.
This is the brand I recommend when anyone asks for my advice.

Not much to say other then I have had no coasters. In my opinion, Verbatim discs are one of the best quality you can get in a store. The lightscribe labeling on this is really cool if you have a lightscribe burner. My only wish is that they package this up in 50 or 100pk spindles.
