I bought these to replace an aging Panasonic phone that began to behave badly. They are very light and the sound quality is decent. I would have liked speakerphone but I guess you don't get that feature at this price point.Digital camera Review: Decent phones for the money

Not too many "bells and whistles", but the reception is good. The keypad is easy to read and the phone is generally user friendly. The handsets are very lightweight and as such, feel a little cheap, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.
I don't use my landline phone very often, so didn't want to spend a lot of money. These work fine for my needs.

This phone is great all around. The price is good considering the fact that you get 2 handsets. The second handset just plugs into a regular electrical outlet, which is nice because you can put it in a room where there might not be a phone line. The voice messaging works great, the light is big and bright enough to let me know that I have messages. The reception is crystal clear. Overall, I think this is the best cordless phone I have ever used.
