This phone beats the heck out of some of the very pricey brands. I previously spent $100 on a set of GE 6.0 phones, and they were constantly not functioning - but these work well all the time. Great price for a good phone. The only downside is the handsets are not very self-explanatory, so you have to consult with the instruction manual often to know how to do things.Digital camera Review: Great for the price

I bought these because my Uniden phones I cannot talk and run the microwave at the same time, and those phones cost a lot more money, but have a ton of features, like walkie talkie, and room monitoring ability. These are basic cordless phones, with message waiting for Voice mail,(but only on the main handset base). Sound quality could be better, if it was, I would have given it a 5 star. Have had these phones for about a year now and they have done an excellent job. They are pretty basic, which is what we wanted and the price was extremely low compared to other models with all the bells and whistles that we would never use. We are satisfied with them. If you are looking for basic, reliable cordless phones these will fill the bill. No issues with range as we have used them exclusively inside our ranch style house and had no problems. Just a good basic cordless.
