Digital camera reviews of Wacom Intuos3 6 x 8-Inch Pen Tablet

Digital camera Review: Flash, Photoshop whatever
Summary: 5 Stars

I have recently purchased a wacom intuos3 6x8 tablet and it was one of the best decisions i have ever maade. I have worked with flash a lot in the past and had always had trouble drawing with a mouse, but its become a lot easier with a wacom. The pressure sensitivity is awesome and the express keys come in real handy. At first i wasnt sure if i should get the 6x8 or the 9x12, but i think i made the right desicion. Its the perfect size and is a great tool for anyone who spends a lot of time with flash, photoshop or whatever. the programs that come with the tablet are really cool too. i wish i had gotten one a long time ago.

Digital camera Review: Functional, light, easy to use--and the perfect upgrade for me.
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this tablet to replace my old Intuos2 9x12 and I've been using it constantly since it arrived with no problems. Compared to my old tablet, the size is perfect--a great balance between conserving desk space and having a comfortable drawing area. There's also a marked improvement in responsiveness and the overall feel and quality. It's light and relatively small, so it'll definitely be easy to travel with.

I'm using it mostly for illustration and sometimes retouching photos for myself or my family and I really don't have any complaints so far. The one thing that might leave something to be desired is the mouse, though I'm using it regularly anyway. It feels a little flimsy, particuarly compared to the one that was paired with the Intuos2. However, the convenience of having a responsive, relatively good mouse without the cord and being able to switch back and forth between the stylus and mouse quickly is worth it.

I haven't had any problems with lag, though the mouse sometimes feels a little off. Drawing with the stylus is a breeze, and a relief after using a mouse for a while. The buttons are easy to program. I've had no problems at all with the included drivers, installation and use have been flawless.

I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for an easier way to create or touch up their art digitally, and especially to anyone looking to make the switch from traditional to digital media. I'd also say that if you don't absolutely need the bigger size, the 6x8 is perfect. Additionally, the difference in price compared to graphire line is worth it for the additional features. So I'd say unless you don't need the added features or you require a different size for the work you're doing, you can't go wrong this one.

Digital camera Review: Good Product, Bad Quality
Summary: 1 Stars

The reason I'm giving this tablet 1 star is that although it is a great addition to the graphics professional, and one you really can't work w/o, the USB cable will eventually fail internally. It's simply lacking in quality control. The cable is kinked from the factory to address the angle the cable comes from inside the tablet; mine started failing after 2 years and now has completely failed.

Everything else about this tablet is 5 stars, but you can't use it w/o the cable.

Digital camera Review: Good deal
Summary: 5 Stars

Ok guys, I was waiting for a while doing research witch tablet is the best. For my needs the 6x8 is more then enough. I'm complete beginner and I start to learn. so I will not write about the sensitivity and features.

But What you find useful:

If you buy this product, you get also a discount for several programs.

For example, I got 50% of CS4 photoshop. there is also a discounts for Nik color effex pro, painter x and some others. I think the deal with the photoshop is a great value. It saved me some $.

Digital camera Review: Graphic Pen vs. Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow. No comparison with the mouse when working in photoshop. I bought the 6x8 tablet for illustrator, but now I don't know how I got along without it for all those years in photoshop!? I like switching back and forth between the pen and the mouse, depending on the project. The installation on the mac was very easy. No problems.
