I've had this for two years now having gotten it in Christmas of 2007. I can't imagine using my PC without it. Not only the pen for detail work, but having a mouse that doesn't require batteries AND be wireless?
The Intuos3 is the perfect size for a desk, too. Not too big or small. At $200, I'm seriously considering buying a second one for work.
You won't be sorry! Just buy it!

Comparing 2 wacom Intuos3 6X8 tablets
My daughter and I were searching for the best tablet for graphic art. The wacom Intuo3 6X8 has the highest recommendation. There are two versions. It was hard to find the difference in the two. They both have limited lifetime warranty. We chose the this product; the PTZ630 because we did notice a huge difference in the software bundled they come with.

As a pro photographer, this is the one thing I absolutely could not live without in the editing process. Got this tool about three months ago, and the time savings alone from chaning the brush size is HUGE!
If you do lots of work in photoshop, save your pennies and buy this as fast as you can. I promise you will not regret it!

I have been using one for years. If you are working with graphics all the time, it is a night and day difference in the improvement of quality and speed between this and the dark ages of the mouse (worse yet, the Touchpad!)
So if you're a crazy art student that still uses the Touchpad, bug your boyfriend or girlfriend to get you one if you don't have the cash yourself. Convince them that you'll spend more time with them and less time struggling to get your art projects done in time!

I now have 2 of these, one at home and one at work. I was suffering from tight muscles in the neck from using the mouse as a graphic drawing tool. Woke up one morning and I was unable to turn my head!
I FINALLY bought one of these and the carpal tunnel symptoms are GONE(swelling and tingling in hand waking me up at night). I do however still wear the hand brace. I think everyone should consider a Wacom Tablet whether on the verge of carpal tunnel or not. Why risk injury?
I love my Wacom Tablet. 5 stars! Oh, do go to their website - read testimonials from users. They are also VERY helpful and concerned (on the phone) - a real treat these days. They stand behind their product, love it and care about you too.
