I was a little concerned the 3 way socket would be too big for use in the car. Instead, we simply lay it on the floor and it is out of sight. The cord allows the device to be plugged in up front and reach to the back seat when necessary. It has never come out of the "cigarette lighter" (how old does that make me?).
This company ships so fast, I wonder if they are telepathic! Nice job all the way around.

The car battery indicator is not really helpful, just an accssory
They provided screw to fix it, who the heck is gonna screw in the car? They should have provided velcro!!

Have been using it for 1.5 months and is working perfectly fine. Sturdy design but a little too big for my 98 Acura. So cannot place it behind the gear stick. But the good thing is it has a long wire, so have placed it inside the compartment next to driver's seat. However, the 2008 Toyota Camry i had rented recently had a huge tunnel like design hosting the cigarette lighter socket and this entire devise fitted into it beautifully.Digital camera Review: solves multiple charger problems

During our recent cross-country move, I needed to be able to plug in my cell phone, the GPS and the DVD player for the kids (vital to everyone's general well-being during 3 days in the car.) I only had one working cigarette adapter in the car and needed an easy solution. This adapter worked great the entire time. I chose not to screw it into my console as recommended, but rather put some double sided velcro on the bottom and that worked fine. This is a fantastic product despite the fact that they spelled "socket" wrong in the description.
