Digital camera reviews of Western Digital My Book Mirror Edition 2TB USB 2.0 (WDH2U20000N)Digital camera Review: MyBook for Disaster Recovery Summary: 4 Stars
I've only had the product just 1 month so it's a little premature to review now, however I will say that so far it has been easy to put into place and seems to be working fine. I tried to defragment using regular Windows Defragmenter but it would not work. I then asked for suggestions/recomendations on what third party defragmenter has been tested to work on this device and was informed that they could not recommend any due to potential liabilites. If this is the case I think they should have tested this using Windows defrag and ensured that it would work. Other than that I am happy with it but would very much like to defrag it.

Digital camera Review: Overall Good Buy Summary: 3 Stars
I had the 500GB WD MyBook for nearly a year before I decided I needed a lot more space. The 500GB model was awesome, completely reliable, and in fact, came on a 30-day train tour of the states with me. You wouldn't think it was portable, but it worked! Not too shabby!
The 2TB mirrored edition is decent and it holds its own. I love the uber-protection I get from the RAID 1 level. But I really miss the multi-port connectivity and the firewire of my old model! USB2.0 just is not cutting the mustard with me -- I find it slower. The plug also comes out way too often from the lightest of jiggling/shifting/moving. I hate that I can't hook this up to several things at once... so, overall, it's a decent item, but I'd love to see this souped up next time I'm shopping for additional space.

Feels good that you know the chance of having disk failure on two HD at the same time is extremely low. You can put your life on it.. :)
Digital camera Review: Perfect so far Summary: 5 Stars
Been using this drive for a few days now. It operates just as advertised. I am using a 32 bit operating system to load it up then using the WD Media Player to play HD video on my big screen tv. Load times are fast through the USB. The unit itself seems very sturdy and well built. Does not make any noise that I can hear and runs just a tad warm. I have only used RAID 1 because I am saving home movies so I cannot comment on any other configuration. It is nice to know that if one drive goes bad I can replace it with another and not lose any family video.
