Digital camera Review: 2 TB Behemoth ...formatted for Macs
Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this item with the intention of getting a long lasting, reliable storage option. And I am not disappointed. The hard drive is super quiet and I love the choice to connect in any of 4 ways. I use the Firewire 800-400 cable for my Media Center PC. And transfered all of my files over in an incredibly short amount of time.
The only problem I've had is due to my own ignorance & rushing to get this item. I did not realize that this item was formatted for Macs on arrival. And was puzzled as to why my PC wouldn't see it. It took about to 24 hrs to format the huge drive.
So if you buy this for your Windows PC (Vista). Make sure you format it once it is plugged up & prepare to wait. If anyone is having that problem, leave a comment & I will put the steps I took to take care of it.
