Digital camera Review: 1 problem, now smooth sailing

I installed the expander drive 3 or 4 months ago with some trepidation. I'd read some of the problems others had had and was very concerned about it locking up or crashing my Tivo HD.
If you follow the directions, the installation could not be easier. It does take more than a few minutes for everything to boot up, so don't try to install it 5 minutes before your favorite show is scheduled to start; you'll miss the beginning, but once it's done, that's it.
A week or so after installing the drive, my Tivo HD did lock up, which was kind of frustrating, but I unplugged the Tivo and rebooted it, and have not had a problem since.
All-in-all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I record a huge number of shows on 4 Tivos (2 HD & 2 Series2). My daughter is out of state at college for 9 months out of the year and doesn't have time to watch much tv during the school year. During this last semester I have been able to record her favorite shows and save them. Now she's home for the summer, and can get caught up on everything.
I've even ordered a second Western Digital 1TB My DVR Expander Hard Drive for my second Tivo HD.
