Digital camera Review: some insights about the pink version drive

This 320 GB pink version picture shown on the web was pretty sleek and shiny, however when it arrived the actual color looked dense and dull, not as light as the picture on the web. I would have ordered a different color (white or black ) if I knew the pink looks like cheap plastic here.
The actual drive is okay. It took roughly 20 seconds for me to back up the 6.4MB data originally stored in the drive. (sort of slow, but anyway this is a portable version. The bigger ones are bulkier and of course faster).I had to reformat it to NTFS instead of its original FAT32. Can you believe these days they still sell it at FAT32 format? Not a big issue reformatting though. I downloaded a trail version of EASEUS online and it only took a couple seconds to partition and reformat. Then you are ready to enjoy the big disk.

I did tons of research before I bought this drive, I needed it because I wanted to first format my work PC, and also to backup about 10K pictures.
Nice thing is that its spacious enough, and it look very sharp, no external power needed, and the transfer speed is great..
I moved about 7GB in about 14min or something like that..
I bought two of them and both arrived as new never opened..
Regarding the black shiney color, Yes you might see ur finger prints on it, but not that easy if you ate something greasy yes :)
Its great drive, if you are looking for mid size drive get this one..

I first tried this product with the included software which synced my computer and the hard drive. I prefer to not start up the sync option and just drag and drop files into a folder I created. It's easier for me. Others may work best with the sync option, which saves the effort of figuring out what already exists on the drive. I just haven't figured out grabbing files from the sync option to use as attachments or inserts to emails and documents without syncing to the computer.
It does what I want and has plenty of memory, which is great. It's also very compact.

I've only had it a short time but so far it has been perfect. Quick and easy solution for a disk backup (in conjunction with SuperDuper! backup software (for Mac). It's also so compact (along with the CaseLogic case I bought for it) that it will be perfect for an off-site backup (i.e., keeping a backup some place different from the computer -- for really big disasters).
