Digital camera Review: Can I give it ZERO stars??

Wow. WD really messed up this brand of external drives. The previous iteration were wonderful...but these? Pure garbage. I mean absolute PURE GARBAGE.
I won't even get into the gobs of bloat-ware junk on the drive (which infuriates me to no end). Instead, I'll focus my comments on the new micro usb interface.
Yes, it IS standard for many devices. What WD doesn't tell you is that the drive itself has NO sata interface. The micro usb connector is soldered onto the drive! So if the drive fails, there's no way to mount it in any repair utilities like Spinright.
Want to take the drive out of the case? Good luck using it in anything else.
What a boneheaded move WD!
Decisions like this revamp of the model line make me question if I EVER want to buy from Western Digital again!!
