I've only had it a short time but so far it has been perfect. Quick and easy solution for a disk backup (in conjunction with SuperDuper! backup software (for Mac). It's also so compact (along with the CaseLogic case I bought for it) that it will be perfect for an off-site backup (i.e., keeping a backup some place different from the computer -- for really big disasters). Perhaps handy for carrying around and the occasional backup, but as a general use drive about worthless for me--USB power only feature STINKS. Even with a powered USB hub in combination with my Mac Powerbook, this thing spontaneously 'ejects' and disappears from the desktop multiple times per day. (Without a powered drive my laptop cannot even recognize this drive, not enough power via USB.) Even with my G5 desktop the same problem--often loses power and disappears from the desktop, I must disconnect/reconnect and it appears again...for a little while at least.Digital camera Review: Good Product

Works good. It was confusing setting it up and figuring out how it works. It comes with this software to back up your whole computer, so you can basically bring your main computer's hard drive with you wherever you go. However it works much the same as iTunes works, where you sync everything, so if you delete something from your computer then press sync, it will be deleted off the drive. However if you are like me and just want to clear some space on your computer by moving files off of it, all you need to do is treat it like a flash drive and drag files into it's icon on My Computer.
