Digital camera Review: A sound drive

As far as how much I love this piece of equipment is relative to what aspect you look at as it does have some good ones and some things that could be done better.
Quiet, Easy, and well worth the price given its drawbacks. It has almost no noise whatsoever, installs on almost any computer OS and copying and using the drive is as simple as copy/paste.
Fairly small though would have preferred if one could set it up sideways to avoid the amount of heat that is displaced from it to be more easily controlled, mind you this has no fans and can get very hot given much use.
I've had more dependable drives than western digital, given that its quite durable and can withstand quite a bit of punishment as its very solid. I haven't tried to destroy mine though I can tell how solid and hard it is and should resist most small falls and accidents.
My only major complaints are that it is very slow... I can literally wait 30 minutes to upload or use data stored on the drive given how much space is on this drive it is quite a drawback even on faster machines this is snail like in speed.
There is also no included software to speak of which for some people may actually be a benefit where I see it could be more useful to have some kind of interface with the computer you are linked to.

I bought this hard drive mainly to store my useful files which I occasionally used. I am running a Window 7 64 bit software and an intel i7 core processor with USB 2.0 interface. I found that the external hard disk was working very efficiently with my computer. It could copy 100G of datas in one hour and fifteen minutes. The pay back time is fast. However you must remember to stop the USB device before you disconnect the hard drive from the computer. Otherwise, the computer or any computer will not recognize it when you connect it again the next time. It took me quite some time to fix the problem. The case is very solid. It gives me a sense of security that it will perform for a long time. It was very quiet and I felt a little warm even though I ran it for hours. I recommend it to anyone who needs space for files and the internal hard disk is critical for use on other issues.Digital camera Review: AMAZING

I picked this one because it has more good than bad reviews and it looks like a bigger version of my Toshiba external.
It seems like a good hard drive but the power and usb plugs DO NOT fit well. they both wobble and lose connection. You can tell when the usb is losing connection by a skipping effect while watching any video.
I added a third star because as of Jan '10 it's still holding up.
