Massive size at a low cost.
No stupid LED's.
Quiet.
Case doesn't sacrifice strength for portability.
Case is not flashy, so less likely to be stolen.
Separate power cable and data cable is a good thing.
I looked at a lot of drives and reviews before buying, you should do the same.

Well I will have to say that this Hard drive is a bit Larger then i thought it was going to be, did pay much attention to the listing LOL. but it is perfect small enough, quit, fast, and it has a small light on it not just enough to be able to give off light but not keep me awake at nigh. this is important because im in Iraq and need my sleep hope you guys like the review and buy as well good price overall. IT IS A OLD Model. IT HAS BAD SECTORS. I SENT MY ELEMENT BACK TO WD. THEY SENT ME A UPto DATE NEW MYBOOK 1TB. IF YOU WANT IT (LIKE, I DID)GET IT, BUT YOU GOING TO SEND IT BACK TO AMAZON AND GET MONEY OR REPLACEMENT YOU COULD SEND IT TO WD AND GET MYBOOK 1TB (THERE IS SHIPPING COST). I bought this drive in June and it died in November. WD sent out another power supply in a speedy 23 days but I quickly realized the drive is in fact dead and not just the PSU. Yes, it's under warranty but what am I going to do? Send it back to WD with all my data on it??? Avoid this POS like the plague.
