Digital camera Review: Bad Sectors

I'm on my second 160GB Passport. The first was returned immediately due to "bad sectors" errors. The WD tech person told me that I got a faulty product and sent me another one. All he could ship was a refurb (which took a month ) and told me I'd be better off with a refurb because of the testing they go through (what does that say about the original product). Now 5 months later the refurb is getting the same errors. This thing is a piece of junk and WD knows it. I'm not the only person that has had this problem. DON'T BUY!!!

I really like this product, it's fast, no drivers, I keep it conected all day, I Store Oracle Databases on it. It's reliable.
This is the third western Digital USB drive I buy, and so far I will still prefer WD over any other.
I recommend.

This is by far the best external hard drive you could buy. I bought this early last year and it still works as good as the first day i got it even after it had been dropped down 3 flights of stairs, dropped in a puddle of water and even vodka was accidentally spilled on it all i had to do was plug it up so that it heats up enough to dry it out and it started back to work perfectly with no data being lost at all. I've been using this drive with my MacBook, PowerMac and Dell laptop for about four months. It has worked flawlessly, just plug and go. I use it on the go with the MacBook, for my iTunes library, and for backing up large work files from the PowerMac and the Dell. It's small, flat and very easy to carry in the pockets of most computer bags.
