Digital camera Review: Beware the automatic load sensing

Whirlpool usually makes good products, but this one has problems. We installed the first one, it broke down after 4 days. Got the second one in, it broke down in about the same timeframe. Got the third one in, it lasted for one and a half loads. Had a repairman come this time to find out what the problem was. Turns out we have either too low or too high water pressure. The automatic load sensing mechanism burns up in either case. Why didn't they put a regulator on the water line if they knew it would do this???
Also, the automatic load sensing does not work on small loads - the washer just fills up to the top. I would not recommend this model - save yourself some money and headaches and get a more basic (and more reliable) model. In this case, the added features mean added opportunity for failure.
