Wow - I have never felt so ripped off. Right out of the box this thing should have come with instructions on how to dispose of it. This camera took only about 2 hours to fully charge for it's first use. When I installed the memory card, the card did not fully seat and sat part way out. Once I was able to manipulate the correct angle and inserted the SD card, I thought it was good to go. WRONG - I made a short test video of the room I was sitting in. The video was choppy and cut in and out every couple seconds. I tried it on another computer to find that the video and sound was again very choppy and would pause for a second before continuing.
After I saw the bad video quality I removed the memory to try and use the enclosed SD Card Reader thinking this was the problem. When I removed the memory chip, the camera would not turn off. All the indicator lights remained on and the camera would not function at all. I read that there was a reset button on the side that was supposed to reset the camera to the factory settings. When I pushed the button, it broke off inside the camera - AND the camera still did not turn off.
Somewhere lies this little camera waiting for the tiny DVR Gods to carry it away. Don't waste your money on this thing. Technology has come a long way, but in this camera you will find poor recording quality, poor workmanship all wrapped up in a very small and light package.
