I had previously installed a BFG card. I tried for 3 months to get it to work with dual monitors - multiple drivers, installing things in different order, messing with the bios, uninstalling the onboard video...
I finally realized that their card didn't work. I bought this one based on the high review marks.
To my relief, I plugged it in, installed the driver, and I have dual monitors. And this card doesn't even need a stupid fan!
There's also a major performance boost for my machine as the graphics chores have been offloaded. Video (and multiple videos) also plays great. The BFG needed the settings to be tweaked every time you opened a video.
The moral: XFX Good, BFG: Bad.

A very nice card for the money! Just downloaded the latest drivers from nVidia's website, installed the hardware, and I was ready to rock. The card is quiet since it doesn't have a fan, and stays around 55 degrees C with regular use on my computer. Working the card with some games, I've seen it climb up to 88 degrees C, which is still in it's yellow zone.
I had the card ordered with the "Super Saver" free shipping, which I was disappointed to be told would take approximately 9 to 11 days to arrive. I was very happy when it showed up in 3 days instead!

If you have an old desktop and would like to use it couple more years by upgrading certain parts, this product should be one of your video card options. First of all, the price is very affordable for a video card. Installation is not too complicated. However, I should mention here that you should pay attention to the warnings in the manual (e.g. uninstall old video card).
If you are using Vista you don't, I think, need to use the installation disk because Vista recognize the card automatically. Windows XP, on the other hand, does not...
I've been using this card for about a month or so and I'm impressed with the color quality. When I watch high definition movie trailers everything is smooth and colors are crisp. Since I'm not a gamer, I cannot tell you anything about this card's gaming performance.
To sum it up, this card is a good choice when everything is taken into consideration. Price, performance, and ease of use make it an easy pick.
